Judges 2:18

18Whenever the Lord raised up judges for them, athe Lord was with the judge, and he saved them from the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge. bFor the Lord was moved to pity by ctheir groaning because of those who afflicted and oppressed them.

Judges 3:27

27When he arrived, dhe sounded the trumpet in ethe hill country of Ephraim. Then the people of Israel went down with him from the hill country, and he was their leader.

Judges 4:2-3

2And the Lord fsold them into the hand of gJabin king of Canaan, who reigned in hHazor. The commander of his army was iSisera, who lived in jHarosheth-hagoyim. 3Then the people of Israel kcried out to the Lord for help, for he had l900 chariots of iron and he oppressed the people of Israel cruelly for twenty years.

9And I delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all who oppressed you, and mdrove them out before you and gave you their land.

34But nthe Spirit of the Lord clothed Gideon, oand he sounded the trumpet, and the Abiezrites were called out to follow him.

Judges 7:16-21

16And he divided the 300 men into three companies and put trumpets into the hands of all of them and empty jars, with ptorches inside the jars. 17And he said to them, “Look at me, and do likewise. When I come to the outskirts of the camp, do as I do. 18When I blow the trumpet, I and all who are with me, then blow the trumpets also on every side of all the camp and shout, q‘For the Lord and for Gideon.’”

Gideon Defeats Midian

19So Gideon and the hundred men who were with him came to the outskirts of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, when they had just set the watch. And they blew the trumpets and smashed the jars that were in their hands. 20Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the jars. They held in their left hands the torches, and in their right hands the trumpets to blow. rAnd they cried out, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” 21Every man stood in his place around the camp, sand all the army ran. They cried out and fled.

Judges 10:8

8and they crushed and oppressed the people of Israel that year. For eighteen years they oppressed all the people of Israel who were beyond the Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.

Judges 10:12

12The Sidonians also, and tthe Amalekites and the Maonites oppressed you, and you cried out to me, and I usaved you out of their hand.

1 Samuel 10:18

18And he said to the people of Israel, vThus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and I delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all the kingdoms that were oppressing you.’
