Judges 2:18

18Whenever the Lord raised up judges for them, athe Lord was with the judge, and he saved them from the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge. bFor the Lord was moved to pity by ctheir groaning because of those who afflicted and oppressed them.

Judges 3:9

9But when the people of Israel dcried out to the Lord, the Lord raised up a edeliverer for the people of Israel, who saved them, fOthniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother.

Judges 4:3

3Then the people of Israel gcried out to the Lord for help, for he had h900 chariots of iron and he oppressed the people of Israel cruelly for twenty years.

Judges 6:6-10

6And Israel was brought very low because of Midian. And the people of Israel icried out for help to the Lord.

7When the people of Israel cried out to the Lord on account of the Midianites, 8the Lord sent a prophet to the people of Israel. And he said to them, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: jI led you up from Egypt and brought you out of the house of slavery. 9And I delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all who oppressed you, and kdrove them out before you and gave you their land. 10And I said to you, ‘I am the Lord your God; lyou shall not fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell.’ But you have not obeyed my voice.”

Judges 10:10-16

10And the people of Israel mcried out to the Lord, saying, “We have sinned against you, because nwe have forsaken our God and have served the Baals.” 11And the Lord said to the people of Israel, “Did I not save you ofrom the Egyptians and pfrom the Amorites, qfrom the Ammonites and rfrom the Philistines? 12The Sidonians also, and sthe Amalekites and the Maonites oppressed you, and you cried out to me, and I tsaved you out of their hand. 13Yet you have uforsaken me and served other gods; therefore I will save you no more. 14Go and cry out vto the gods whom you have chosen; let them save you in the time of your distress.” 15And the people of Israel said to the Lord, “We have sinned; do to us whatever seems good to you. Only please deliver us this day.” 16So they put away the foreign gods from among them and served the Lord, and whe became impatient over the misery of Israel.

1 Samuel 7:8-12

8And the people of Israel said to Samuel, “Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us, that he may save us from the hand of the Philistines.” 9So Samuel took a nursing lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. And xSamuel cried out to the Lord for Israel, and the Lord answered him. 10As Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to attack Israel. yBut the Lord thundered with a mighty sound that day against the Philistines and threw them into confusion, and they were defeated before Israel. 11And the men of Israel went out from Mizpah and pursued the Philistines and struck them, as far as below Beth-car.

12Then Samuel ztook a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen
Hebrew; Septuagint, Syriac Jeshanah
and called its name Ebenezer;
 Ebenezer means stone of help
for he said, “Till now the Lord has helped us.”

2 Kings 14:26-27

26For the Lord acsaw that the affliction of Israel was very bitter, adfor there was none left, bond or free, and there was none to help Israel. 27 aeBut the Lord had not said that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, so he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.
