Judges 2:4-5

4As soon as the angel of the Lord spoke these words to all the people of Israel, the people lifted up their voices and wept. 5And they called the name of that place Bochim.
 Bochim means weepers
And they sacrificed there to the Lord.

Ezra 10:1

The People Confess Their Sin

1 bWhile Ezra prayed and cmade confession, weeping and dcasting himself down ebefore the house of God, a very great assembly of men, women, and children, gathered to him out of Israel, for the people wept bitterly.

Psalms 6:6-8

6 I am fweary with my gmoaning;
every night I flood my bed with tears;
I drench my couch with my weeping.
7My heye wastes away because of grief;
it grows weak because of all my foes.
8 iDepart from me, all you jworkers of evil,
for the Lord khas heard the sound of my weeping.

Psalms 38:18

18I lconfess my iniquity;
I am msorry for my sin.

Psalms 51:17

17The sacrifices of God are na broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

Psalms 126:5-6

5 oThose who sow in tears
shall reap with shouts of joy!
6He who goes out weeping,
bearing the seed for sowing,
shall come home with shouts of joy,
bringing his sheaves with him.

Luke 6:21

21 pBlessed are you who are hungry now, for you shall be satisfied.

qBlessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.

Luke 22:62

62And he went out and wept bitterly.
