Judges 20:18
18The people of Israel arose and went up to aBethel and inquired of God, b“Who shall go up first for us to fight against the people of Benjamin?” And the Lord said, c“Judah shall go up first.”Judges 20:28
28and dPhinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron, eministered before it in those days), saying, “Shall we go out once more to battle against our brothers, the people of Benjamin, or shall we cease?” And the Lord said, “Go up, for tomorrow I will give them into your hand.”1 Samuel 23:9-12
9David knew that Saul was plotting harm against him. And he said to Abiathar the priest, f“Bring the ephod here.” 10Then David said, “O Lord, the God of Israel, your servant has surely heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah, to destroy the city on my account. 11Will the men of Keilah surrender me into his hand? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? O Lord, the God of Israel, please tell your servant.” And the Lord said, “He will come down.” 12Then David said, “Will the men of Keilah surrender me and my men into the hand of Saul?” And the Lord said, g“They will surrender you.”1 Samuel 28:6
6And when Saul inquired of the Lord, hthe Lord did not answer him, either iby dreams, or jby Urim, or by prophets.
