28And he said to them, “Follow after me, afor the Lord has given your enemies the Moabites into your hand.” So they went down after him and seized bthe fords of the Jordan against the Moabites and did not allow anyone to pass over.

Judges 7:23-25

23And the men of Israel were called out from Naphtali and from Asher and from all Manasseh, and they pursued after Midian.

24 cGideon sent messengers throughout dall the hill country of Ephraim, saying, “Come down against the Midianites and capture the waters against them, as far as eBeth-barah, and also the Jordan.” So all the men of Ephraim were called out, and they captured the waters as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan. 25And they captured fthe two princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb. They killed Oreb gat the rock of Oreb, and Zeeb they killed at the winepress of Zeeb. Then they pursued Midian, and they brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon hacross the Jordan.

1 Samuel 14:20-22

20Then Saul and all the people who were with him rallied and went into the battle. And behold, ievery Philistine’s sword was against his fellow, and there was very great confusion. 21Now the Hebrews who had been with the Philistines before that time and who had gone up with them into the camp, jeven they also turned to be with the Israelites who were with Saul and Jonathan. 22Likewise, when all the men of Israel kwho had hidden themselves lin the hill country of Ephraim heard that the Philistines were fleeing, they too followed hard after them in the battle.
