Judges 5:6-7

6 “In the days of ^aShamgar, son of Anath,
in the days of ^bJael, ^cthe highways were abandoned,
and travelers kept to the byways.
7 The villagers ceased in Israel;
they ceased to be until I arose;
I, Deborah, arose as a mother in Israel.

2 Chronicles 15:5-6

5 In those times there was no peace ^dto him who went out or to him who came in, for great disturbances afflicted all the inhabitants of the lands. 6 They were broken in pieces. Nation was crushed by nation and city by city, for God troubled them with every sort of distress.

Ezekiel 29:11
