Judges 6:13-15

13And Gideon said to him, “Please, my lord,
Or  Please, my Lord
if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are ball his wonderful deeds cthat our fathers recounted to us, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has forsaken us and given us into the hand of Midian.”
14And the Lord
Septuagint  the angel of the Lord; also verse 16
turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours and save Israel from the hand of Midian; edo not I send you?”
15And he said to him, fPlease, Lord, how can I save Israel? Behold, gmy clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.”

1 Samuel 9:20-21

20 hAs for your donkeys that were lost three days ago, do not set your mind on them, for they have been found. And for whom is all that is desirable in Israel? Is it not for you and for all your father’s house?” 21Saul answered, “Am I not a Benjaminite, ifrom the least of the tribes of Israel? jAnd is not my clan the humblest of all the clans of the tribe of Benjamin? Why then have you spoken to me in this way?”
