and hwail, all you drinkers of wine,
because of ithe sweet wine,
for it is cut off from your mouth.
6For ja nation has come up against my land,
kpowerful and beyond number;
lits teeth are lionsteeth,
and it has the fangs of a lioness.
7It has laid waste my vine
and splintered my mfig tree;
it has stripped off their bark and thrown it down;
their branches are made white.

and like war horses they run.

the sword will cut you off.
It will xdevour you ylike the locust.
Multiply yourselves zlike the locust;

more than the stars of the heavens.
acThe locust spreads its wings and flies away.
17 Your adprinces are aelike grasshoppers,
afyour scribes
Or marshals
like clouds of locusts
settling on the fences
in a day of cold
when the sun rises, they fly away;
no one knows where they are.
