Judges 9:15

15And the bramble said to the trees, ‘If in good faith you are anointing me king over you, then come and atake refuge in my shade, but if not, blet fire come out of the bramble and devour cthe cedars of Lebanon.’

20But if not, dlet fire come out from Abimelech and devour the leaders of Shechem and Beth-millo; and let fire come out from the leaders of Shechem and from Beth-millo and devour Abimelech.”

14 eNow the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, fand a harmful spirit from the Lord tormented him. 15And Saul’s servants said to him, “Behold now, a harmful spirit from God is tormenting you. 16Let our lord now command your servants gwho are before you to seek out a man who is skillful in playing the lyre, and when the harmful spirit from God is upon you, he will hplay it, and you will be well.”

15So the king did not listen to the people, for mit was a turn of affairs brought about by the Lord that he might fulfill his word, which nthe Lord spoke by Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
