Judges 9:15
15And the bramble said to the trees, ‘If in good faith you are anointing me king over you, then come and atake refuge in my shade, but if not, blet fire come out of the bramble and devour cthe cedars of Lebanon.’Judges 9:20
20But if not, dlet fire come out from Abimelech and devour the leaders of Shechem and Beth-millo; and let fire come out from the leaders of Shechem and from Beth-millo and devour Abimelech.”1 Samuel 16:14-16
David in Saul’s Service
14 eNow the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, fand a harmful spirit from the Lord tormented him. 15And Saul’s servants said to him, “Behold now, a harmful spirit from God is tormenting you. 16Let our lord now command your servants gwho are before you to seek out a man who is skillful in playing the lyre, and when the harmful spirit from God is upon you, he will hplay it, and you will be well.”1 Samuel 18:9-10
9And Saul eyed David from that day on.10The next day ia harmful spirit from God rushed upon Saul, and jhe raved within his house while David was kplaying the lyre, as he did day by day. lSaul had his spear in his hand.
1 Kings 12:15
15So the king did not listen to the people, for mit was a turn of affairs brought about by the Lord that he might fulfill his word, which nthe Lord spoke by Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.1 Kings 22:22-23
22And the Lord said to him, ‘By what means?’ And he said, ‘I will go out, and will be oa lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’ 23Now therefore behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; the Lord has declared disaster for you.”2 Chronicles 10:15
