17 for my father fought for you and risked his life and delivered you from the hand of Midian,

6 He ^asays in his heart, “I shall not be moved;
throughout all generations I ^bshall not meet adversity.”

5 Turn away your eyes from me,
for they overwhelm me—
^cYour hair is like a flock of goats
leaping down the slopes of Gilead.
