they oset an ambush for their own lives.
19 pSuch are the ways of everyone who is qgreedy for unjust gain;
rit takes away the life of its possessors.

Proverbs 4:14-15

14 sDo not enter the path of the wicked,
and do not walk in the way of the evil.
15Avoid it; do not go on it;
turn away from it and pass on.

Proverbs 6:32

32He who commits adultery lacks sense;
he who does it destroys himself.
