45And Abimelech fought against the city all that day. He captured the city and killed the people who were in it, and ahe razed the city and bsowed it with salt.

Judges 9:50

of dove’s dung for five shekels of silver.

2 Kings 18:9-12

9In the fourth year of King Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah, king of Israel, gShalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria and besieged it, 10and at the end of three years he took it. In the sixth year of Hezekiah, which was the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken. 11The king of Assyria carried the Israelites away to Assyria and put them in hHalah, and on the iHabor, jthe river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes, 12because they did not obey the voice of the Lord their God but transgressed his covenant, even all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded. 2 Kings 25:1-4

1 kAnd in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, lNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came with all his army against Jerusalem and laid siege to it. mAnd they built siegeworks all around it. 2So the city was besieged till the eleventh year of King Zedekiah. 3On the ninth day of the fourth month nthe famine was so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land. 4Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, by othe king’s garden, and pthe Chaldeans were around the city. And they went in the direction of the qArabah.

Luke 19:43-44

43For rthe days will come upon you, when your enemies swill set up a barricade around you and tsurround you and hem you in on every side 44 uand tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And vthey will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know wthe time of your xvisitation.”
