Lamentations 1:4

4 The roads to Zion mourn,
for none come to athe festival;
ball her gates are desolate;
her priests cgroan;
her virgins have been afflicted,

and she herself suffers bitterly.

Lamentations 1:16

16 For these things eI weep;
my eyes flow with tears;
for fa comforter is far from me,
one to grevive my spirit;
my children are desolate,
for the enemy has prevailed.”

Joel 2:17

17 hBetween the ivestibule and the jaltar
klet the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep
and say, “Spare your people, O Lord,
and make not your heritage a reproach,
a byword among the nations.
Or  reproach, that the nations should rule over them

mWhy should they say among the peoples,
Where is their God?’”
