Lamentations 3:25-26

25 The Lord is good to those who await for him,
to the soul who seeks him.
26 bIt is good that one should wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.

Luke 2:25-32

25Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was crighteous and ddevout, ewaiting for fthe consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not gsee death before he had seen hthe Lord’s Christ. 27And he came in the Spirit into the temple, and when ithe parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the Law, 28he took him up in his arms and jblessed God and said,

29 Lord, now you are letting your servant
Greek bondservant
depart lin peace,
maccording to your word;
30for nmy eyes have seen your osalvation
31 pthat you have prepared in the presence of all peoples,
32 qa light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and rfor glory to syour people Israel.”
