53 athey flung me alive into the pit
band cast stones on me;

Matthew 27:60-66

60and claid it in his own new tomb, dwhich he had cut in the rock. And he rolled ea great stone to the entrance of the tomb and went away. 61Mary Magdalene and fthe other Mary were there, sitting opposite the tomb.

The Guard at the Tomb

62The next day, that is, after the day of gPreparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered before Pilate 63and said, “Sir, we remember how hthat impostor said, while he was still alive, iAfter three days I will rise.’ 64Therefore order the tomb to be made secure until the third day, jlest his disciples go and steal him away and tell the people, ‘He has risen from the dead,’ and the last fraud will be worse than the first.” 65Pilate said to them, “You have ka guard
Or Take a guard
of soldiers. Go, make it as secure as you can.”
66So they went and made the tomb secure by msealing the stone and setting a guard.

Acts 12:4

4And when he had seized him, he put him nin prison, delivering him over to four osquads of soldiers to guard him, intending after the Passover to bring him out to the people.

Acts 16:23-24

23And when they had inflicted many blows upon them, they threw them into prison, ordering the jailer to keep them safely. 24Having received this order, he put them into the inner pprison and fastened their feet in qthe stocks.
