Lamentations 3:55-66

55 a“I called on your name, O Lord,
from the depths of the pit;
56 byou heard my plea, ‘Do not close
your ear to my cry for help!’
57 cYou came near when I called on you;
you said, d‘Do not fear!’
58 “You have etaken up my cause, fO Lord;
you have gredeemed my life.
59You have seen the wrong done to me, hO Lord;
judge my cause.
60You have seen all their vengeance,
all itheir plots against me.
61 j“You have heard their taunts, O Lord,
all ktheir plots against me.
62The lips and thoughts lof my assailants
are against me all the day long.
63 mBehold their sitting and their rising;
nI am the object of their taunts.
64 o“You will repay them,
Or Repay them
O Lord,
qaccording to the work of their hands.
65You will give them
Or Give them
dullness of heart;
your curse will be
Or place your curse
on them.
66You will pursue them
Or Pursue them
in anger and udestroy them
from under vyour heavens, O Lord.”
