Leviticus 1:5-6

5Then he shall kill the bull before the Lord, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall bring the blood aand throw the blood against the sides of the altar that is at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 6Then he shall flay the burnt offering and cut it into pieces,

Numbers 18:3

3They shall keep guard over you and bover the whole tent, cbut shall not come near to the vessels of the sanctuary or to the altar dlest they, and you, die.

Numbers 18:7

7And eyou and your sons with you shall guard your priesthood for all that concerns the altar and fthat is within the veil; and you shall serve. I give your priesthood as a gift,

and hany outsider who comes near shall be put to death.”

2 Chronicles 29:22-24

22So they slaughtered the bulls, and the priests received the blood iand threw it against the altar. And they slaughtered the rams, and their blood was thrown against the altar. And they slaughtered the lambs, and their blood was thrown against the altar. 23Then the goats for the sin offering were brought to the king and the assembly, jand they laid their hands on them, 24and the priests slaughtered them and made a sin offering with their blood on the altar, kto make atonement for all Israel. For the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.

2 Chronicles 30:16

16 lThey took their accustomed posts according to the Law of Moses mthe man of God. The priests threw the blood that they received from the hand of the Levites.

Hebrews 9:21-22

21And in the same way he sprinkled with the blood both nthe tent and all the vessels used in worship. 22Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and owithout the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
