The Death of Nadab and Abihu

1 Now ^aNadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, ^beach took his censer and put fire in it and laid incense on it and offered ^cunauthorized ^{▼▼Or strange} fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them. 2 And fire ^ecame out from before the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord. 3 Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Among ^fthose who are near me ^gI will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” ^hAnd Aaron held his peace.

Haggai 2:11-13

11 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ^pAsk the priests about the law: 12 ‘If someone carries ^qholy meat in the fold of his garment and touches with his fold bread or stew or wine or oil or any kind of food, does it become holy?’” The priests answered and said, ^r“No.” 13 Then Haggai said, ^s“If someone who is unclean by contact with a dead body ^ttouches any of these, does it become unclean?” The priests answered and said, “It does become unclean.”
