The Death of Nadab and Abihu
1Now aNadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, beach took his censer and put fire in it and laid incense on it and offered cunauthorized ▼▼Or strange
fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them. 2And fire ecame out from before the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord. 3Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Among fthose who are near me gI will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” hAnd Aaron held his peace. 1 Samuel 6:20
20Then the men of Beth-shemesh said, i“Who is able to stand before the Lord, this holy God? And to whom shall he go up away from us?”2 Samuel 6:8-9
8And David was angry because the Lord had broken out against Uzzah. And that place is called Perez-uzzah ▼▼ Perez-uzzah means the breaking out against Uzzah
