Leviticus 10:9-11

9 a“Drink no wine or strong drink, you or your sons with you, when you go into the tent of meeting, lest you die. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations. 10You are to bdistinguish between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean, 11and cyou are to teach the people of Israel all the statutes that the Lord has spoken to them by Moses.”

Psalms 104:15

15and dwine to gladden the heart of man,
eoil to make his face shine
and bread to fstrengthen man’s heart.

Proverbs 31:4-7

4 gIt is not for kings, O Lemuel,
it is not for kings hto drink wine,
or for rulers to take istrong drink,
5lest they drink and forget what has been decreed
and jpervert the rights of all the afflicted.
6Give strong drink to the one who kis perishing,
and wine to lthose in bitter distress;
Hebrew  those bitter in soul

7 nlet them drink and forget their poverty
and remember their misery no more.

Ezekiel 44:21

21 oNo priest shall drink wine when he enters the inner court.

Ephesians 5:18

18And pdo not get drunk with wine, for that is qdebauchery, but rbe filled with the Spirit,
