Leviticus 11:13-19

13“And these you shall detest among the birds;
Or things that fly; compare Genesis 1:20
they shall not be eaten; they are bdetestable: cthe eagle,
The identity of many of these birds is uncertain
the bearded vulture, the black vulture,
14the kite, ethe falcon of any kind, 15every raven of any kind, 16the ostrich, the nighthawk, the sea gull, the fhawk of any kind, 17the glittle owl, the cormorant, the hshort-eared owl, 18the barn owl, the itawny owl, the carrion vulture, 19the stork, the heron of any kind, the hoopoe, and jthe bat.

Isaiah 13:20-22

20 kIt will never be inhabited
or lived in for all generations;
no lArab will pitch his tent there;
no mshepherds will make their flocks lie down there.
21But nwild animals will lie down there,
and their houses will be full of howling creatures;
there oostriches
Or owls
will dwell,
and there wild goats will dance.
22Hyenas
Or foxes
will cry in its towers,
and rjackals in sthe pleasant palaces;
its time is close at hand
and its days will not be prolonged.

Isaiah 14:23

23“And I will make it a possession of the thedgehog,
Possibly porcupine, or owl
and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” declares the Lord of hosts.

Isaiah 21:8

8Then he who saw cried out:

wUpon a watchtower I stand, O Lord,
continually by day,
and at my post I am stationed
whole nights.

Isaiah 34:11-15

11 xBut the hawk and the porcupine
The identity of the animals rendered  hawk and  porcupine is uncertain
shall possess it,
the owl and the raven shall dwell in it.
zHe shall stretch the line of aaconfusion
Hebrew formlessness
over it,
and the plumb line of emptiness.
12Its nobles—there is no one there to call it a kingdom,
and all its princes shall be nothing.
13 acThorns shall grow over its strongholds,
nettles and thistles in its fortresses.
It shall be the haunt of adjackals,
an abode for ostriches.
Or owls

14 afAnd wild animals shall meet with hyenas;
the wild goat shall cry to his fellow;
indeed, there the night bird
Identity uncertain
settles
and finds for herself a resting place.
15 There the owl nests and lays
and hatches and gathers her young in her shadow;
indeed, there ahthe hawks are gathered,
each one with her mate.

Jeremiah 50:39-40

39 aiTherefore wild beasts shall dwell with hyenas in Babylon, and ostriches shall dwell in her. She shall never again have people, nor be inhabited for all generations. 40 ajAs when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities, declares the Lord, akso no man shall dwell there, and no son of man shall sojourn in her.
