Leviticus 12:4

4Then she shall continue for thirty-three days in the blood of her purifying. She shall not touch anything holy, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying are completed.

Leviticus 15:31-33

31“Thus you shall keep the people of Israel separate from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness by adefiling my tabernacle that is in their midst.”

32This is the law bfor him who has a discharge and cfor him who has an emission of semen, becoming unclean thereby; 33 dalso for her who is unwell with her menstrual impurity, that is, for anyone, emale or ffemale, who has a discharge, and for the gman who lies with a woman who is unclean.

Leviticus 21:17-23

17Speak to Aaron, saying, None of your offspring throughout their generations who has a blemish may happroach to offer the bread of his God. 18For no one who has a blemish shall draw near, a man iblind or lame, or one who has a mutilated face jor a limb too long, 19or a man who has an injured foot or an injured hand, 20or a hunchback or a dwarf or a man with a kdefect in his sight or an itching disease or scabs or lcrushed testicles. 21No man of the offspring of Aaron the priest who has a blemish shall come near to moffer the Lord’s food offerings; since he has a blemish, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God. 22He may eat the bread of his God, both of nthe most holy and of the oholy things, 23but he shall not go through the veil or approach the altar, because he has a blemish, that he may not pprofane my sanctuaries, qfor I am the Lord who sanctifies them.”

Leviticus 22:3-6

3Say to them, ‘If any one of all your offspring throughout your generations approaches the holy things that the people of Israel dedicate to the Lord, while rhe has an uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from my presence: I am the Lord. 4None of the offspring of Aaron who has a leprous disease or a sdischarge may eat of the holy things tuntil he is clean. uWhoever touches anything that is unclean through contact with the dead or va man who has had an emission of semen, 5and wwhoever touches a swarming thing by which he may be made unclean or xa person from whom he may take uncleanness, whatever his uncleanness may be— 6the person who touches such a thing shall be unclean until the evening and shall not eat of the holy things unless he has ybathed his body in water.

Numbers 9:6

6And there were certain men who were zunclean through touching a dead body, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and aathey came before Moses and Aaron on that day.

Numbers 19:13-20

13Whoever touches a dead person, the body of anyone who has died, and does not cleanse himself, abdefiles the tabernacle of the Lord, acand that person shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not thrown on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is still on him.

14“This is the law when someone dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent and everyone who is in the tent shall be unclean seven days. 15And every adopen vessel that has no cover fastened on it is unclean. 16 aeWhoever in the open field touches someone who was killed with a sword or who died naturally, or touches a human bone or a afgrave, shall be unclean seven days. 17For the unclean they shall take agsome ashes of the burnt sin offering, and fresh

18Then a clean person shall take aihyssop and dip it in the water and sprinkle it on the tent and on all the furnishings and on the persons who were there and on whoever touched the bone, or the slain or the dead or the grave. 19And the clean person shall sprinkle it on the unclean ajon the third day and on the seventh day. akThus on the seventh day he shall cleanse him, and he shall alwash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and at evening he shall be clean.

20“If the man who is unclean does not cleanse himself, amthat person shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, since he has defiled the sanctuary of the Lord. Because the water for impurity has not been thrown on him, he is unclean.
