Leviticus 16:29-30

29 “And it shall be a statute to you forever that ^ain the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall ^bafflict yourselves ^{▼▼Or shall fast; also verse 31} and shall do no work, either ^dthe native or the stranger who sojourns among you. 30 For on this day shall atonement be made for you ^eto cleanse you. You shall be clean before the Lord from all your sins.

Leviticus 25:9

9 Then you shall sound ^fthe loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month. ^gOn the Day of Atonement you shall sound the trumpet throughout all your land.

Numbers 29:7-11

Offerings for the Day of Atonement

7 ^h“On the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation and ⁱafflict yourselves. ^{▼▼Or and fast} You shall do no work, 8 but you shall offer a burnt offering to the Lord, a pleasing aroma: one bull from the herd, one ram, seven male lambs a year old: ^ksee that they are without blemish. 9 And their grain offering shall be of fine flour mixed with oil, three tenths of an ephah for the bull, two tenths for the one ram, 10 a tenth for each of the seven lambs: 11 also ^lone male goat for a sin offering, besides ^mthe sin offering of atonement, and the regular burnt offering and its grain offering, and their drink offerings.
