Leviticus 18:21
21You shall not give any of your children to aoffer them ▼▼Hebrew to make them pass through [the fire]
to cMolech, and so dprofane the name of your God: I am the Lord. Jeremiah 7:31-32
31And they have built the high places of eTopheth, which is in fthe Valley of the Son of Hinnom, gto burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, hwhich I did not command, nor did it come into my mind. 32 iTherefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when it will no more be called jTopheth, or kthe Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter; lfor they will bury in Topheth, because there is no room elsewhere.Jeremiah 32:35
35They built the high places of Baal min the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, nto offer up their sons and daughters to Molech, othough I did not command them, nor did it enter into my mind, that they should do pthis abomination, qto cause Judah to sin.
