Leviticus 18:24-28

24 a“Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, bfor by all these the nations I am driving out before you have become unclean, 25and the cland became unclean, so that I punished its iniquity, and the land dvomited out its inhabitants. 26But eyou shall keep my statutes and my rules and do none of these abominations, either the fnative or the stranger who sojourns among you 27(for the people of the land, who were before you, did all of these abominations, so that the land became unclean), 28lest the land vomit you out when you make it unclean, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

Numbers 35:33-34

33You shall not gpollute the land in which you live, for blood hpollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except iby the blood of the one who shed it. 34 jYou shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell, kfor I the Lord dwell in the midst of the people of Israel.”

Psalms 106:37-38

37They lsacrificed their sons
and their daughters to mthe demons;
38they poured out innocent blood,
the blood of their sons and daughters,
whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,
and the land was npolluted with blood.

Isaiah 24:5

5The earth lies odefiled
under its inhabitants;
for pthey have transgressed the laws,
violated the statutes,
broken the everlasting covenant.

Jeremiah 2:7

7 qAnd I brought you into a plentiful land
to enjoy its fruits and its good things.
But when you came in, ryou defiled my land
and made my heritage an abomination.
