Leviticus 19:12
12 aYou shall not swear by my name falsely, and so bprofane the name of your God: I am the Lord.Leviticus 20:2-5
2“Say to the people of Israel, cAny one of the people of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones. 3 dI myself will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Molech, to make my sanctuary eunclean and fto profane my holy name. 4And if the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not gput him to death, 5then I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in hwhoring after Molech.Leviticus 21:6
6They shall be holy to their God and inot profane the name of their God. For they offer the Lord’s food offerings, jthe bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.Leviticus 22:2

22“Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: sIt is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, twhich you have profaned among the nations to which you came. 23 uAnd I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. vAnd the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.Malachi 1:12
