Leviticus 19:13

13 a“You shall not oppress your neighbor or rob him. bThe wages of a hired worker shall not remain with you all night until the morning.

Deuteronomy 24:14-15

14“You shall not coppress a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the sojourners who are in your land within your towns. 15 dYou shall give him his wages on the same day, before the sun sets (for he is poor and counts on it), elest he cry against you to the Lord, and you be guilty of sin.

Matthew 10:10

10no bag for your journey, or two tunics
Greek chiton, a long garment worn under the cloak next to the skin
or sandals or a staff, for gthe laborer deserves his food.

Luke 10:7

7And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for hthe laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house.
