Leviticus 21:6-8

6They shall be holy to their God and anot profane the name of their God. For they offer the Lord’s food offerings, bthe bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy. 7 cThey shall not marry a prostitute or a woman who has been defiled, neither shall they marry a woman ddivorced from her husband, for the priest is holy to his God. 8You shall sanctify him, for he offers the bread of your God. He shall be holy to you, for eI, the Lord, who sanctify you, fam holy.

Leviticus 21:12-15

12 gHe shall not go out of the sanctuary, lest he hprofane the sanctuary of his God, for the iconsecration of the anointing oil of his God is on him: I am the Lord. 13And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
Or a young wife
14A widow, kor a divorced woman, or a woman who has been defiled, or a prostitute, these he shall not marry. But he shall take as his wife a virgin

of his own people,
15that he may not profane his offspring among his people, for mI am the Lord who sanctifies him.”

Numbers 16:3

3 nThey assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron and said to them, o“You have gone too far! For pall in the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them. Why then do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord?”

Isaiah 61:5-6

5 qStrangers shall stand and tend your flocks;
foreigners shall be your plowmen and vinedressers;
6 rbut you shall be called the priests of the Lord;
they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God;
syou shall eat the wealth of the nations,
and in their glory you shall boast.

1 Peter 2:5-9

5 tyou yourselves like living stones are being built up as ua spiritual house, to be va holy priesthood, wto offer spiritual sacrifices xacceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6For it stands in Scripture:

yBehold, I am laying in Zion a stone,
a cornerstone chosen and precious,
zand whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”
7So the honor is for you who aabelieve, but for those who abdo not believe,

They stumble because they disobey the word, afas they were destined to do.

9But you are aga chosen race, aha royal aipriesthood, aja holy nation, aka people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you alout of darkness into amhis marvelous light.

Revelation of John 1:6
