Leviticus 24:16

16Whoever ablasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

1 Kings 21:9-13

9And she wrote in the letters, “Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth at the head of the people. 10And set two bworthless men opposite him, and let them bring a charge against him, saying, c‘You have cursed

God and the king.’ Then take him out and stone him to death.”
11And the men of his city, ethe elders and the leaders who lived in his city, did as Jezebel had sent word to them. As it was written in the letters that she had sent to them, 12 fthey proclaimed a fast and set Naboth at the head of the people. 13And the two worthless men came in and sat opposite him. And the worthless men brought a charge against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying, “Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.

Matthew 26:65-66

65Then the high priest gtore his robes and said, h“He has uttered blasphemy. What further witnesses do we need? You have now heard his blasphemy. 66What is your judgment?” They answered, i“He deserves death.”

Luke 22:71

71Then they said, “What further testimony do we need? We have heard it ourselves from his own lips.”

John 5:18

Jesus Is Equal with God

18This was why the Jews jwere seeking all the more to kill him, kbecause not only was he lbreaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God mhis own Father, nmaking himself equal with God.

John 8:58-59
