25“If your brother becomes poor and sells part of his property, athen his nearest redeemer shall come and redeem what his brother has sold.

Leviticus 25:35

Kindness for Poor Brothers

35“If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, byou shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you.

Nehemiah 5:5

Galatians 4:4-5

Hebrews 2:11-13

Or  brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church; also verse 12
12saying,

r“I will tell of your name to my brothers;
in the midst of the scongregation I will sing your praise.”
13And again,

tI will put my trust in him.”
And again,

uBehold, I and the children vGod has given me.”
