Leviticus 25:42-46

42For they are amy servants,
Hebrew slaves
whom I brought out of the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold as slaves.
43 cYou shall not rule over him druthlessly but eshall fear your God. 44As for your male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are around you. 45 fYou may also buy from among the strangers who sojourn with you and their clans that are with you, who have been born in your land, and they may be your property. 46You may bequeath them to your sons after you to inherit as a possession forever. You may make slaves of them, but over your brothers the people of Israel gyou shall not rule, one over another ruthlessly.

Joshua 9:22-23

22Joshua summoned them, and he said to them, “Why did you deceive us, saying, h‘We are very far from you,’ when iyou dwell among us? 23Now therefore you are cursed, and some of you shall never be anything but servants, jcutters of wood and drawers of water for the house of my God.”

Joshua 9:27

27But Joshua made them that day kcutters of wood and drawers of water for the congregation and for the altar of the Lord, to this day, lin the place that he should choose.

Joshua 11:19-20

19There was not a city that made peace with the people of Israel except mthe Hivites, the inhabitants of Gibeon. They took them all in battle. 20For it was the Lord’s doing nto harden their hearts that they should come against Israel in battle, in order that they should be devoted to destruction and should receive no mercy but be destroyed, ojust as the Lord commanded Moses.

Joshua 16:10

10However, pthey did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer, so the Canaanites have lived in the midst of Ephraim to this day but have been made qto do forced labor.

Judges 1:28

28When Israel grew strong, they put the Canaanites to forced labor, but did not drive them out completely.

Judges 1:30-35

30Zebulun did not drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, or the inhabitants of rNahalol, so the Canaanites lived among them, but became subject to forced labor.

31 sAsher did not drive out the inhabitants of Acco, or the inhabitants of Sidon or of Ahlab or of Achzib or of Helbah or of Aphik or of Rehob, 32so the Asherites lived among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land, for they did not drive them out.

33Naphtali did not drive out the inhabitants of tBeth-shemesh, or the inhabitants of Beth-anath, so they lived among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land. Nevertheless, the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh and of Beth-anath became subject to forced labor for them.

34 uThe Amorites pressed the people of Dan back into the hill country, for they did not allow them to come down to the plain. 35The Amorites persisted in dwelling in Mount Heres, vin Aijalon, and in Shaalbim, but the hand of the house of Joseph rested heavily on them, and they became subject to forced labor.
