16then I will do this to you: I will visit you with panic, with awasting disease and fever that consume the eyes and make the heart ache. And byou shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

Deuteronomy 28:30-31

30 cYou shall betroth a wife, but another man shall ravish her. dYou shall build a house, but you shall not dwell in it. eYou shall plant a vineyard, but you shall not enjoy its fruit. 31Your ox shall be slaughtered before your eyes, but you shall not eat any of it. Your donkey shall be seized before your face, but shall not be restored to you. Your sheep shall be given to your enemies, but there shall be no one to help you.

Deuteronomy 28:33

33A nation that you have not known shall eat up the fruit of your ground and of all your labors, and you shall be only oppressed and crushed continually,

Judges 6:3-4

Habakkuk Rejoices in the Lord

17 Though the fig tree should not blossom,
nor fruit be on the vines,
the produce of the olive fail
and the fields yield no food,
the flock be cut off from the fold
and there be no herd in the stalls,
18 oyet I will rejoice in the Lord;
pI will take joy in the God of my salvation.
