Leviticus 26:20

20And ayour strength shall be spent in vain, for byour land shall not yield its increase, and the trees of the land shall not yield their fruit.

Deuteronomy 28:38-40

38 cYou shall carry much seed into the field and shall gather in little, for dthe locust shall consume it. 39 eYou shall plant vineyards and dress them, but you shall neither drink of the wine nor gather the grapes, for the worm shall eat them. 40You shall have olive trees throughout all your territory, but you fshall not anoint yourself with the oil, for your olives shall drop off.

Isaiah 62:8-9

8The Lord has sworn gby his right hand
and by his mighty arm:
“I will not again give hyour grain
to be food for your enemies,
iand foreigners shall not drink your wine
for which you have labored;
9but jthose who garner it shall eat it
and praise the Lord,
and kthose who gather it shall drink it
in the courts of my sanctuary.”

Isaiah 65:21-22

21 mThey shall build houses and inhabit them;
they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

ofor like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be,
and my chosen shall long enjoy
Hebrew  shall wear out
the work of their hands.

Jeremiah 12:13

13 qThey have sown wheat and have reaped thorns;
rthey have tired themselves out but profit nothing.
They shall be ashamed of their

tbecause of the fierce anger of the Lord.”

Joel 1:10-12

10The fields are destroyed,
uthe ground mourns,
because vthe grain is destroyed,
wthe wine dries up,
the oil languishes.
11 xBe ashamed,
The Hebrew words for  dry up and  be ashamed in verses 10–12, 17 sound alike
O tillers of the soil;
wail, O vinedressers,
for the wheat and the barley,
zbecause the harvest of the field has perished.
12The vine dries up;
aathe fig tree languishes.
Pomegranate, palm, and apple,
all the trees of the field are dried up,
and abgladness dries up
from the children of man.
