26 aWhen I break your supply

Deuteronomy 28:52-53

Ezekiel 4:9-17

9“And you, take wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and emmer,
A type of wheat
and put them into a single vessel and make your wbread from them. xDuring the number of days that you lie on your side, y390 days, you shall eat it.
10And your food that you eat shall be zby weight, aatwenty shekels
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
a day; from day to day
Or at a set time daily; also verse 11
you shall eat it.
11And water you shall drink adby measure, the sixth part of a hin;
A  hin was about 4 quarts or 3.5 liters
from day to day you shall drink.
12And you shall eat it as a barley cake, baking it afin their sight on human dung.” 13And the Lord said, “Thus shall the people of Israel eat agtheir bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.” 14Then I said, ahAh, Lord God! Behold, I have never defiled myself.
Hebrew my soul (or throat) has never been made unclean
ajFrom my youth up till now I have never eaten akwhat died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has altainted meat come into my mouth.”
15Then he said to me, “See, I assign to you cow’s dung instead of human dung, on which you may prepare your bread.” 16Moreover, he said to me, amSon of man, behold, anI will break the supply

of bread in Jerusalem. They shall eat bread apby weight and with anxiety, and they shall drink water aqby measure and in dismay.
17I will do this that they may lack bread and water, and arlook at one another in dismay, and asrot away because of their punishment.

Ezekiel 5:10

10Therefore atfathers shall eat their sons in your midst, and sons shall eat their fathers. auAnd I will execute judgments on you, avand any of you who survive I will scatter to all the winds.

Ezekiel 5:12

12 awA third part of you shall die of pestilence and be consumed with famine in your midst; axa third part shall fall by the sword all around you; ayand a third part I will scatter to all the winds and will unsheathe the sword after them.

Ezekiel 7:15

15 azThe sword is without; pestilence and famine are within. baHe who is in the field dies by the sword, bband him who is in the city famine and pestilence devour.

Ezekiel 14:21
