Leviticus 26:30-35

30And aI will destroy your high places and cut down your incense altars and bcast your dead bodies upon the dead bodies of your idols, and my soul will abhor you. 31And I will clay your cities waste and will dmake your sanctuaries desolate, and eI will not smell your pleasing aromas. 32And fI myself will devastate the land, so that your enemies who settle in it shall be gappalled at it. 33And hI will scatter you among the nations, and I will unsheathe the sword after you, and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.

34 i“Then the land shall enjoy
Or pay for; twice in this verse; also verse 43
its Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate, while you are in your enemiesland; then the land shall rest, and enjoy its Sabbaths.
35As long as it lies desolate it shall have rest, the rest that it did not have on your Sabbaths when you were dwelling in it.

Deuteronomy 29:23

23the whole land burned out with brimstone and ksalt, nothing sown and nothing growing, where no plant can sprout, lan overthrow like that of Sodom and Gomorrah, mAdmah, and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in his anger and wrath

Deuteronomy 29:28

28and the Lord nuprooted them from their land in anger and fury and great wrath, and ocast them into another land, as they are this day.’

2 Chronicles 36:21

21to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had penjoyed its Sabbaths. All the days that it lay desolate qit kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.

Isaiah 6:11

11Then I said, r“How long, O Lord?”

Until scities lie waste
without inhabitant,
and houses without people,
and the land is a desolate waste,

Isaiah 24:1

Judgment on the Whole Earth

1 Behold, tthe Lord will empty the earth
Or land; also throughout this chapter
and make it desolate,
and he will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants.

Ezekiel 36:4
