Leviticus 26:31-32

31And I will alay your cities waste and will bmake your sanctuaries desolate, and cI will not smell your pleasing aromas. 32And dI myself will devastate the land, so that your enemies who settle in it shall be eappalled at it.

Psalms 69:25

25 fMay their camp be a desolation;
let no one dwell in their tents.

Isaiah 1:7-8

7 gYour country lies desolate;
your cities are burned with fire;
in your very presence
foreigners devour your land;
it is desolate, as overthrown by foreigners.
8And hthe daughter of Zion is left
like a ibooth in a vineyard,
like a lodge in a cucumber field,
like a besieged city.

Isaiah 5:5-6

5 And now I will tell you
what I will do to my vineyard.

lI will break down its wall,
and it shall be trampled down.
6I will make it a waste;
it shall not be pruned or hoed,
and mbriers and thorns shall grow up;
nI will also command the clouds
that they rain no rain upon it.

Isaiah 64:10-11

10 oYour holy cities have become a wilderness;
Zion has become a wilderness,
Jerusalem a desolation.
11 pOur holy and beautiful
Or  holy and glorious
house,
where our fathers praised you,
has been burned by fire,
and all our pleasant places have become ruins.

Luke 21:5-6

Jesus Foretells Destruction of the Temple

5 rAnd while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said, 6“As for these things that you see, sthe days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”

Luke 21:24

24They will fall by the edge of the sword and tbe led captive among all nations, and uJerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, vuntil the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
