Leviticus 26:31-33

31And I will alay your cities waste and will bmake your sanctuaries desolate, and cI will not smell your pleasing aromas. 32And dI myself will devastate the land, so that your enemies who settle in it shall be eappalled at it. 33And fI will scatter you among the nations, and I will unsheathe the sword after you, and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.

Curses for Disobedience

15“But gif you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes that I command you today, then all these curses shall come upon you and hovertake you.

Deuteronomy 28:64-68

64“And the Lord iwill scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and jthere you shall serve other gods kof wood and stone, lwhich neither you nor your fathers have known. 65And mamong these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but nthe Lord will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and oa languishing soul. 66Your life shall hang in doubt before you. Night and day you shall be in dread and have no assurance of your life. 67 pIn the morning you shall say, ‘If only it were evening!’ and at evening you shall say, ‘If only it were morning!’ because of the dread that your heart shall feel, and qthe sights that your eyes shall see. 68And the Lord rwill bring you back in ships to Egypt, a journey that I promised that syou should never make again; and there you shall offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.”

2 Kings 25:21

21And the king of Babylon struck them down and put them to death at tRiblah in the land of Hamath. uSo Judah was taken into exile out of its land.

Jeremiah 39:9
