Leviticus 26:32

32And aI myself will devastate the land, so that your enemies who settle in it shall be bappalled at it.

1 Kings 9:8

8And this house will become a heap of ruins.
Syriac, Old Latin; Hebrew  will become high
Everyone passing by it will be astonished and will hiss, and they will say, dWhy has the Lord done thus to this land and to this house?’

2 Chronicles 7:20-21

20 ethen I will pluck you

up from my land that I have given you, and this house that I have consecrated for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it ga proverb and a byword among all peoples.

Jeremiah 9:9-11

9 iShall I not punish them for these things? declares the Lord,

Jeremiah 18:16

16making their land pa horror,
a thing qto be hissed at forever.
rEveryone who passes by it is horrified
sand shakes his head.

Jeremiah 25:18

18 tJerusalem and the cities of Judah, its kings and officials, uto make them a desolation and a waste, a hissing and a curse, as at this day;

Jeremiah 49:13

13 vFor I have sworn by myself, declares the Lord, that wBozrah shall become xa horror, a taunt, a waste, and a curse, and all her cities shall be perpetual wastes.”

Jeremiah 50:13

13 yBecause of the wrath of the Lord she shall not be inhabited
but shall be an utter desolation;
zeveryone who passes by Babylon shall be appalled,
aaand hiss because of all her wounds.
