64“And the Lord owill scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and pthere you shall serve other gods qof wood and stone, rwhich neither you nor your fathers have known. 65And samong these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but tthe Lord will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and ua languishing soul. 66Your life shall hang in doubt before you. Night and day you shall be in dread and have no assurance of your life. 67 vIn the morning you shall say, ‘If only it were evening!’ and at evening you shall say, ‘If only it were morning!’ because of the dread that your heart shall feel, and wthe sights that your eyes shall see. 68And the Lord xwill bring you back in ships to Egypt, a journey that I promised that yyou should never make again; and there you shall offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.”

Joshua 23:15-16

15But just as all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you have been fulfilled for you, so the Lord will bring upon you aeall the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land that the Lord your God has given you, 16if you transgress the covenant of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them. Then the anger of the Lord will be kindled against you, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land that he has given to you.”
