Leviticus 26:33-34

33And aI will scatter you among the nations, and I will unsheathe the sword after you, and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.

34 b“Then the land shall enjoy
Or pay for; twice in this verse; also verse 43
its Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate, while you are in your enemiesland; then the land shall rest, and enjoy its Sabbaths.

Leviticus 26:43

43But dthe land shall be abandoned by them and enjoy its Sabbaths while it lies desolate without them, and they shall make amends for their iniquity, because they spurned my rules and their soul abhorred my statutes.

Deuteronomy 29:23

23the whole land burned out with brimstone and esalt, nothing sown and nothing growing, where no plant can sprout, fan overthrow like that of Sodom and Gomorrah, gAdmah, and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in his anger and wrath

Jeremiah 19:8

8And I will make this city ma horror, na thing to be hissed at. Everyone who passes by it will be horrified and will hiss because of all its wounds.

9 obehold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, declares the Lord, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, pmy servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction, qand make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.

Jeremiah 49:13

13 rFor I have sworn by myself, declares the Lord, that sBozrah shall become ta horror, a taunt, a waste, and a curse, and all her cities shall be perpetual wastes.”

Jeremiah 50:13

13 uBecause of the wrath of the Lord she shall not be inhabited
but shall be an utter desolation;
veveryone who passes by Babylon shall be appalled,
wand hiss because of all her wounds.
