Leviticus 26:36

36And as for those of you who are left, aI will send faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. The bsound of a cdriven leaf shall put them to flight, and they shall flee as one flees from the sword, and they shall fall when none pursues.

1 Samuel 25:36-38

36And Abigail came to Nabal, and behold, dhe was holding a feast in his house, like the feast of a king. And Nabal’s heart ewas merry within him, for he was very drunk. So she told him nothing fat all until the morning light. 37In the morning, when the wine had gone out of Nabal, his wife told him these things, and his heart died within him, and he became as a stone. 38And about ten days later gthe Lord struck Nabal, and he died.

Job 1:13-19

Satan Takes Job’s Property and Children

13Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, 14and there came a messenger to Job and said, “The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them, 15and hthe Sabeans fell upon them and took them and struck down the servants

with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.”
16While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, j“The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed them, and I alone have escaped to tell you.” 17While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, k“The Chaldeans formed lthree groups and made a raid on the camels and took them and struck down the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.” 18While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, m“Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, 19and behold, a great wind came across nthe wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young people, and they are dead, and I alone have escaped to tell you.”

Job 20:5-7

5 othat the exulting of the wicked is short,
and the joy of the godless but for a moment?
6 pThough his height mount up to the heavens,
and his head reach to the clouds,
7he will perish forever like his own qdung;
those who have seen him will say, rWhere is he?’

Job 20:22-24

22In the fullness of his sufficiency he will be in distress;
the hand of everyone in misery will come against him.
23To fill his belly to the full,

will send his burning anger against him

24 uHe will flee from an iron weapon;

Psalms 73:18-20

18 Truly you set them in xslippery places;
you make them fall to ruin.
19How they are destroyed yin a moment,
swept away utterly by zterrors!
20Like aaa dream when one awakes,
O Lord, when abyou rouse yourself, you despise them as phantoms.
