Leviticus 26:40-41
40“But if athey confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers in their treachery that they bcommitted against me, and also in walking contrary to me, 41so that I walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemies—if then their cuncircumcised heart is dhumbled and they make amends for their iniquity,Jeremiah 3:24-25
24“But from our youth the shameful thing has devoured all for which our fathers labored, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters. 25 eLet us lie down in our shame, and let our dishonor cover us. For fwe have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, and we have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.”Ezekiel 14:22-23
22But behold, gsome survivors will be left in it, sons and daughters who will be brought out; behold, when they come out to you, and hyou see their ways and their deeds, you will be consoled for the disaster that I have brought upon Jerusalem, for all that I have brought upon it. 23They will console you, when you see their ways and their deeds, and you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, declares the Lord God.”Ezekiel 36:31

5 jwe have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly kand rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules. 6 lWe have not listened to myour servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to nour kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 7To you, oO Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us open shame, as at this day, to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, pthose who are near and qthose who are far away, in rall the lands to which you have driven them, because of sthe treachery that they have committed against you. 8To us, O Lord, belongs open shame, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because twe have sinned against you. 9 uTo the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against him 10 vand have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God by walking in his laws, which he set before us by whis servants the prophets. 11 xAll Israel has transgressed your law and turned aside, yrefusing to obey your voice. zAnd the curse and oath aathat are written in the Law of abMoses the servant of God have been poured out upon us, because acwe have sinned against him. 12He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us and against adour rulers who ruled us, ▼▼Or our judges who judged us
by afbringing upon us a great calamity. agFor under the whole heaven there has not been done anything like what has been done against Jerusalem.
