Leviticus 26:40-42

40“But if athey confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers in their treachery that they bcommitted against me, and also in walking contrary to me, 41so that I walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemiesif then their cuncircumcised heart is dhumbled and they make amends for their iniquity, 42then I will eremember my covenant with Jacob, and I will remember my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will fremember the land.

1 Kings 8:47-50

47yet gif they turn their heart in the land to which they have been carried captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captors, saying, h‘We have sinned and have acted perversely and wickedly,’ 48 iif they repent with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who carried them captive, and pray to you jtoward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city that you have chosen, and the house that I have built for your name, 49then hear in heaven your dwelling place their prayer and their plea, and maintain their cause 50and forgive your people who have sinned against you, and all their transgressions that they have committed against you, and kgrant them compassion in the sight of those who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them
