Leviticus 26:40-42

40“But if athey confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers in their treachery that they bcommitted against me, and also in walking contrary to me, 41so that I walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemiesif then their cuncircumcised heart is dhumbled and they make amends for their iniquity, 42then I will eremember my covenant with Jacob, and I will remember my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will fremember the land.

Deuteronomy 4:29-31

29 gBut from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. 30When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you hin the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice. 31For the Lord your God is ia merciful God. jHe will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.

1 k“And lwhen all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and myou call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God has driven you, 2and nreturn to the Lord your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul, 3then the Lord your God owill restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and he will pgather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. 4 qIf your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there he will take you. 5And the Lord your God will bring you into the land that your fathers possessed, that you may possess it. rAnd he will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers. 6And sthe Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, tso that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

Nehemiah 1:8-9

8Remember the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, uI will scatter you among the peoples, 9 vbut if you return to me and keep my commandments and do them, wthough your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there I will gather them and bring them xto the place that I have chosen, to make my name dwell there.’

Proverbs 28:13

13Whoever yconceals his transgressions will not prosper,
but he who zconfesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

Jeremiah 3:12-13
