k[See ver. 6 above]

Leviticus 26:40-42

40“But if athey confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers in their treachery that they bcommitted against me, and also in walking contrary to me, 41so that I walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemiesif then their cuncircumcised heart is dhumbled and they make amends for their iniquity, 42then I will eremember my covenant with Jacob, and I will remember my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will fremember the land.

Ezra 9:6-7

6saying:

“O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift my face to you, my God, for our iniquities ghave risen higher than our heads, and our hguilt has imounted up to the heavens.
7 jFrom the days of our fathers to this day we have been in great kguilt. And for our iniquities we, our kings, and our priests have been given into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, to plundering, land to utter shame, as it is today.

Nehemiah 9:2

2 mAnd the Israelites
Hebrew  the offspring of Israel
separated themselves from all foreigners and stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers.

Psalms 32:5

5 I oacknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I pwill confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.  Selah

Psalms 51:3

3 qFor I know my transgressions,
and my sin is ever before me.

Psalms 106:6-48

6 rBoth we and sour fathers have sinned;
we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedness.
7Our fathers, when they were in Egypt,
did not consider your wondrous works;
they tdid not remember the abundance of your steadfast love,
but urebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.
8Yet he saved them vfor his name’s sake,
wthat he might make known his mighty power.
9He xrebuked the Red Sea, and it ybecame dry,
and he zled them through the deep as through a desert.
10So he aasaved them from the hand of the foe
and abredeemed them from the power of the enemy.
11And acthe waters covered their adversaries;
not one of them was left.
12Then adthey believed his words;
they aesang his praise.
13 But they soon afforgot his works;
they did not wait for aghis counsel.
14But they had aha wanton craving in the wilderness,
and aiput God to the test in the desert;
15he ajgave them what they asked,
but sent aka wasting disease among them.
16 When men in the camp alwere jealous of Moses
and Aaron, amthe holy one of the Lord,
17 anthe earth opened and swallowed up Dathan,
and covered the company of Abiram.
18 aoFire also broke out in their company;
the flame burned up the wicked.
19 They apmade a calf in Horeb
and worshiped a metal image.
20They aqexchanged the glory of God
Hebrew  exchanged their glory

for the image of an ox that eats grass.
21They asforgot God, their Savior,
who had done great things in Egypt,
22wondrous works in atthe land of Ham,
and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.
23Therefore auhe said he would destroy them—
had not Moses, his avchosen one,
awstood in the breach before him,
to turn away his wrath from destroying them.
24 Then they axdespised aythe pleasant land,
having azno faith in his promise.
25They bamurmured in their tents,
and did not obey the voice of the Lord.
26Therefore he bbraised his hand and swore to them
that he would make them fall in the wilderness,
27and would make their offspring fall among the nations,
bcscattering them among the lands.
28 Then they bdyoked themselves to the beBaal of Peor,
and ate sacrifices offered to bfthe dead;
29they provoked the Lord to anger with their deeds,
and a plague broke out among them.
30Then bgPhinehas stood up and intervened,
and the plague was stayed.
31And that was bhcounted to him as righteousness
from generation to generation forever.
32 They biangered him at the waters of Meribah,
and it went ill with Moses on their account,
33for they bjmade his spirit bitter,
Or  they rebelled against God’s Spirit

and he blspoke rashly with his lips.
34 They did not bmdestroy the peoples,
bnas the Lord commanded them,
35but they bomixed with the nations
and learned to do as they did.
36They served their idols,
which became bpa snare to them.
37They bqsacrificed their sons
and their daughters to brthe demons;
38they poured out innocent blood,
the blood of their sons and daughters,
whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,
and the land was bspolluted with blood.
39Thus they btbecame unclean by their acts,
and buplayed the whore in their deeds.
40 Then bvthe anger of the Lord was kindled against bwhis people,
and he abhorred his bxheritage;
41he bygave them into the hand of the nations,
so that those who hated them ruled over them.
42Their enemies bzoppressed them,
and they were brought into subjection under their power.
43 caMany times he delivered them,
but they were rebellious in their cbpurposes
and were ccbrought low through their iniquity.
44 Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress,
when he cdheard their cry.
45For their sake he ceremembered his covenant,
and cfrelented according to cgthe abundance of his steadfast love.
46He caused them to be chpitied
by all those who held them captive.
47 ciSave us, O Lord our God,
and cjgather us from among the nations,
that we may give thanks to your holy name
and glory in your praise.
48 ckBlessed be the Lord, the God of Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting!
clAnd let all the people say, “Amen!”
cmPraise the Lord!

13 cnOnly acknowledge your guilt,
that you rebelled against the Lord your God
and scattered your favors among foreigners under coevery green tree,
and that you have not obeyed my voice,

declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 3:25

25 cpLet us lie down in our shame, and let our dishonor cover us. For cqwe have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, and we have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.”
