Leviticus 27:28-29

28 “But ^ano devoted thing that a man devotes to the Lord, of anything that he has, whether man or beast, or of his inherited field, shall be sold or redeemed; every devoted thing is most holy to the Lord. 29 ^bNo one devoted, who is to be devoted for destruction ^{▼▼That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)} from mankind, shall be ransomed; he shall surely be put to death.

Numbers 21:2-3

2 ^dAnd Israel vowed a vow to the Lord and said, “If you will indeed give this people into my hand, then I will devote their cities to destruction.” ^{▼▼That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction); also verse 3} 3 And the Lord heeded the voice of Israel and gave over the Canaanites, and they devoted them and their cities to destruction. So the name of the place was called ^fHormah. ^{▼▼ Hormah means destruction}

Deuteronomy 7:2

2 ^hand when the Lord your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must ⁱdevote them to complete destruction. ^{▼▼That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)} ^kYou shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them.

Deuteronomy 7:26

26 And you shall not bring an abominable thing into your house and become devoted to destruction ^{▼▼That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction); twice in this verse} like it. You shall utterly detest and abhor it, ^mfor it is devoted to destruction.

Deuteronomy 20:16-18

16 But ⁿin the cities of these peoples that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes, 17 but ^oyou shall devote them to complete destruction, ^{▼▼That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)} the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, as the Lord your God has commanded, 18 that ^qthey may not teach you to do according to all their abominable practices that they have done for their gods, and so you ^rsin against the Lord your God.

Joshua 7:11

Joshua 8:25-26
