Leviticus 27:28-29

28But ano devoted thing that a man devotes to the Lord, of anything that he has, whether man or beast, or of his inherited field, shall be sold or redeemed; every devoted thing is most holy to the Lord. 29 bNo one devoted, who is to be devoted for destruction
That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
from mankind, shall be ransomed; he shall surely be put to death.

Numbers 33:52

52then dyou shall drive out eall the inhabitants of the land from before you and destroy all their ffigured stones and destroy all their metal images and demolish all their high places.

Deuteronomy 20:16-17

16But gin the cities of these peoples that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes, 17but hyou shall devote them to complete destruction,

the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, as the Lord your God has commanded,

Joshua 6:17-25

17And the city and all that is within it shall be jdevoted to the Lord for destruction.

Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall live, because she lhid the messengers whom we sent.
18But you, keep yourselves from the things devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted them you take any of the devoted things and make the camp of Israel ma thing for destruction and nbring trouble upon it. 19But all silver and gold, and every vessel of bronze and iron, are holy to the Lord; they shall go into the treasury of the Lord.” 20So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and othe wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city. 21Then they pdevoted all in the city to destruction, both men and women, young and old, oxen, sheep, and donkeys, with the edge of the sword.

22But to the two men who had spied out the land, Joshua said, “Go into the prostitute’s house and bring out from there the woman and all who belong to her, qas you swore to her.” 23So the young men who had been spies went in and brought out Rahab and rher father and mother and brothers and all who belonged to her. And they brought all her relatives and put them outside the camp of Israel. 24And they burned the city with fire, and everything in it. sOnly the silver and gold, and the vessels of bronze and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord. 25But Rahab the prostitute and her father’s household and all who belonged to her, Joshua saved alive. And tshe has lived in Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

Joshua 8:24

24When Israel had finished killing all the inhabitants of Ai in the open wilderness where they pursued them, and all of them to the very last had fallen by the edge of the sword, all Israel returned to Ai and struck it down with the edge of the sword.

Joshua 9:24

24They answered Joshua, “Because it was told to your servants for a certainty that the Lord your God had ucommanded his servant Moses to give you all the land and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you—so vwe feared greatly for our lives because of you and did this thing.

Joshua 10:28

28As for wMakkedah, Joshua captured it on that day and struck it, and its king, with the edge of the sword. He devoted to destruction every person in it; he left none remaining. And he did to the king of Makkedah xjust as he had done to the king of Jericho.

Joshua 10:40

40So Joshua struck the whole land, the hill country and the Negeb and the lowland yand the slopes, and all their kings. He left none remaining, zbut devoted to destruction all that breathed, just as the Lord God of Israel commanded.
