Leviticus 27:29

29 ^aNo one devoted, who is to be devoted for destruction ^{▼▼That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)} from mankind, shall be ransomed; he shall surely be put to death.

Numbers 21:2

2 ^cAnd Israel vowed a vow to the Lord and said, “If you will indeed give this people into my hand, then I will devote their cities to destruction.” ^{▼▼That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction); also verse 3}

Deuteronomy 27:15-26

Joshua 6:17-19

Joshua 6:26

26 Joshua laid an oath on them at that time, saying, ^y“Cursed before the Lord be the man who rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho.

“At the cost of his firstborn shall he
lay its foundation,
and at the cost of his youngest son
shall he set up its gates.”

See how my eyes have become bright because I tasted a little of this honey. 30 How much better if the people had eaten freely today of the spoil of their enemies that they found.
