Leviticus 3

Laws for Peace Offerings

1“If his offering is aa sacrifice of peace offering, if he offers an animal from the herd, male or female, bhe shall offer it cwithout blemish before the Lord. 2And dhe shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and kill it at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall throw the blood against the sides of the altar. 3And from the sacrifice of the peace offering, as a food offering to the Lord, he shall offer ethe fat covering the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, 4 fand the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove with the kidneys. 5Then Aaron’s sons gshall burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offering, which is on the wood on the fire; it is a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

6“If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering to the Lord is an animal from the flock, male or female, he shall offer it hwithout blemish. 7If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before the Lord, 8lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it in front of the tent of meeting; and Aaron’s sons shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar. 9Then from the sacrifice of the peace offering he shall offer as a food offering to the Lord its fat; he shall remove the whole ifat tail, cut off close to the backbone, and the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails 10and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove jwith the kidneys. 11And the priest shall burn it on the altar as ka food offering to the Lord.

12“If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord 13and lay his hand on its head and kill it in front of the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aaron shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar. 14Then he shall offer from it, as his offering for a food offering to the Lord, the fat covering the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails 15and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove lwith the kidneys. 16And the priest shall burn them on the altar as a mfood offering with a pleasing aroma. nAll fat is the Lord’s. 17It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, in all your dwelling places, that you eat neither ofat nor pblood.”

1 Chronicles 29:21

21And they offered sacrifices to the Lord, and on the next day offered burnt offerings to the Lord, 1,000 bulls, 1,000 rams, and 1,000 lambs, with their qdrink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.

2 Chronicles 15:11

11They sacrificed to the Lord on that day rfrom the spoil that they had brought 700 oxen and 7,000 sheep.

2 Chronicles 29:32-35

32The number of the burnt offerings that the assembly brought was 70 bulls, 100 rams, and 200 lambs; all these were for a burnt offering to the Lord. 33And the consecrated offerings were 600 bulls and 3,000 sheep. 34But the priests were too few and could not flay all the burnt offerings, so until other priests had consecrated themselves, stheir brothers the Levites helped them, until the work was finishedtfor the Levites were more upright in heart than the priests in consecrating themselves. 35Besides the great number of burnt offerings, there was uthe fat of the peace offerings, and there were vthe drink offerings for the burnt offerings. Thus the service of the house of the Lord was restored.

2 Chronicles 30:24

24For Hezekiah king of Judah wgave the assembly 1,000 bulls and 7,000 sheep for offerings, and the princes gave the assembly 1,000 bulls and 10,000 sheep. And the priests xconsecrated themselves in great numbers.

2 Chronicles 35:7-9

7Then Josiah contributed to the lay people, as Passover offerings for all who were present, lambs and young goats from the flock to the number of 30,000, and 3,000 bulls; ythese were from the king’s possessions. 8And his officials contributed willingly to the people, to the priests, and to the Levites. zHilkiah, Zechariah, and Jehiel, the chief officers of the house of God, gave to the priests for the Passover offerings 2,600 Passover lambs and 300 bulls. 9Conaniah also, and Shemaiah and Nethanel his brothers, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad, the chiefs of the Levites, gave to the Levites for the Passover offerings 5,000 lambs and young goats and 500 bulls.
