Leviticus 21:8

Leviticus 21:17

17 “Speak to Aaron, saying, None of your offspring throughout their generations who has a blemish may ^gapproach to offer the bread of his God.

Leviticus 21:21

21 No man of the offspring of Aaron the priest who has a blemish shall come near to ^hoffer the Lord’s food offerings; since he has a blemish, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.

Leviticus 22:25

25 neither shall you offer as ⁱthe bread of your God any such animals gotten from a foreigner. Since there is a ^jblemish in them, because of their mutilation, they will not be accepted for you.”

Malachi 1:7

Malachi 1:12-14

John 6:52-58

52 The Jews then ^udisputed among themselves, saying, ^v“How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of ^wthe Son of Man and drink his blood, you ^xhave no life in you. 54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood ^yhas eternal life, and ^zI will raise him up on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood ^aaabides in me, and I in him. 57 As ^abthe living Father ^acsent me, and ^adI live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. 58 ^aeThis is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread ^{▼▼Greek lacks the bread} the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”
