Leviticus 3:16

16And the priest shall burn them on the altar as a afood offering with a pleasing aroma. bAll fat is the Lord’s.

Leviticus 21:6

6They shall be holy to their God and cnot profane the name of their God. For they offer the Lord’s food offerings, dthe bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.

Leviticus 21:8

8You shall sanctify him, for he offers the bread of your God. He shall be holy to you, for eI, the Lord, who sanctify you, fam holy.

Leviticus 21:17

17Speak to Aaron, saying, None of your offspring throughout their generations who has a blemish may gapproach to offer the bread of his God.

Leviticus 21:21

21No man of the offspring of Aaron the priest who has a blemish shall come near to hoffer the Lord’s food offerings; since he has a blemish, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.

Leviticus 22:25

25neither shall you offer as ithe bread of your God any such animals gotten from a foreigner. Since there is a jblemish in them, because of their mutilation, they will not be accepted for you.”

Malachi 1:7

7 kBy offering polluted food upon my altar. lBut you say, ‘How have we polluted you?’ By saying that mthe Lord’s table may be despised.

Malachi 1:12-14

12But you profane it when you say that nthe Lord’s table is polluted, and its fruit, that is, its food may be despised. 13But you say, oWhat a weariness this is,’ and you snort at it, says the Lord of hosts. pYou bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the Lord. 14Cursed be the cheat who has qa male in his flock, and rvows it, and yet sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished. For sI am a great King, says the Lord of hosts, and my name twill be feared among the nations.

John 6:52-58

52The Jews then udisputed among themselves, saying, vHow can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53So Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of wthe Son of Man and drink his blood, you xhave no life in you. 54Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood yhas eternal life, and zI will raise him up on the last day. 55For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood aaabides in me, and I in him. 57As abthe living Father acsent me, and adI live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. 58 aeThis is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread
